Centralized heat pump systems can provide a very efficient pathway to building electrification while also addressing site resilience priorities. New projects have explored combining a simple, highly efficient energy recovery AHU with heat pumps that can reduce that energy requirement by another 20% to 50% or more. This session will explore where heat pumps and energy recovery systems have been used and highlight their energy savings and resilience potential and help meet E.O. 14057.
