Battery Energy Storage System Procurement Considerations
In support of energy-related executive order goals and legislative mandates, the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) is helping agencies understand considerations and best practices surrounding federal procurement of stationary battery energy storage systems (BESS). This training will provide attendees with an overview of the common BESS use cases in the federal sector, procurement options, and lessons learned from prior projects.
