During this training session you will hear from federal and industry experts on existing, new, and emerging construction materials such as Phase Change Materials (PCM) and construction techniques that reduce waste and increase sustainability, resilience, and reliability. This session will include a discussion of technologies federal facilities and installations can utilize to help reduce federal waste and achieve a net-zero installation.

- Identify how to utilize emerging technologies to increase building sustainability and net-zero requirements;
- Recognize how to incorporate these new technology best practices to support building sustainability;
- Identify the importance of resource alignment (funding, policy changes, process changes); and
- Recognize how to monitor performance with these technologies and make appropriate recommendations when modifications are needed.
