Army training involves live-fire and ordnance activities that generate high-amplitude sound and potential restrictions on training areas. Army installations are faced with new requirements and must rapidly adapt to control noise without
impacting mission. In addition, high-amplitude sound can pose risks to soldier health, disturb wildlife, and provoke civil affairs issues with surrounding communities.
