This workshop will provide the FSBA participants with an update on tool and resource development. We will discuss the results of each site's self-assessment checklist and address topics and technologies of particular interest identified by the exercise. We will also hear a presentation of a case study from GSA on its Oklahoma City Federal Building smart facility project. This workshop is primarily designed for members of the Federal Smart Building Accelerator however any EEx attendee is invited to audit the session to learn more about grid-interactive efficient buildings and barriers to implementation.
Upon completion of this workshop, attendees will be able to:
- Identify key smart building concepts for federal facilities;
- Recognize smart building implementations via case studies;
- Recognize smart building opportunities at participant sites; and
- Provide feedback on tools and resources FEMP is developing to help federal facilities engage with their utilities.
