Performing Remote Audits using the Facility Energy Decision System (FEDS) is a six-module training series for federal energy professionals, contractors, and energy services industry professionals to learn the federal facility auditing requirements, types of remote audits, how to use the FEDS building analysis tool, and how to perform remote audits and analyze the building data with FEDS.

The first module of the training series is titled "Overview of Remote Audits" and will cover the following topics: Federal Comprehensive Energy and Water Evaluation (CEWE) Requirements (i.e., facility audits); Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) 2007; Energy Act of 2020 (EA 2020); Introduction to Types of Audits; FEMP Resources on how to complete federal facility audits; Facility Evaluation (Audit) Definitions; Audit Decision Tree; and Template Statement of Work for Audits and a remote auditing example case study.

Completing all six modules will cover the full remote audit process beginning from the federal evaluation requirements to performing the remote audits and identifying efficiency measures with FEDS. Individual modules may be reviewed to provide a refresher on specific remote audit or FEDS topics. The modules will be available to view on WBDG after the webinars are held.
