Learn first-hand from utility representatives about carbon pollution-free electricity (CFE) options available to customers in Virginia. This webinar is the first in a series geared towards providing federal customers the opportunity to engage directly with utility representatives and learn how available programs can help agencies meet the CFE requirements of Executive Order 14057.

Representatives from Dominion Energy and Appalachian Power (AEP) describe their respective green pricing programs. This webinar is specifically geared towards energy and sustainability managers with federal facilities in Virginia, but other interested agency personnel and the public are welcome to attend.

Elisabeth McClure is a AAAS Science & Technology Poli cy Fellow at FEMP where she supports federal agencies' achievement of carbon pollution-free electricity and net-zero goals, facilitates equitable energy planning, and coordinates a decarbonization considerations webinar series as a resource for federal agencies. Dr. McClure holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Emory University and a Ph.D. in Microsystems Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

  • Identify utility opportunities to increase CFE purchases in Virginia; and
