Leveraging the Federal government’s power to partner with utilities is key to addressing the risks posed by climate change and enabling a clean energy transition. Methods such as utility privatization, utility energy service contracts (UESCs) and joint resilience planning can assist federal sites in meeting their energy and water goals and addressing climate-related risks. This session will highlight the best practices and tools necessary to engage and partner with utilities to meet electrification, decarbonization, and resilience goals.
