This training session will provide an overview of currently available analytics software/tools that can assist facilities and agencies to match their energy demands, including electrification of buildings and vehicles, with available renewable energy resources. Subject matter experts will discuss challenges to finding and maintaining resilient and climate-responsive energy solutions.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session attendees will:

  • Identify examples of currently available analytics tool (REopt and NextEra 360);
  • Identify challenges faced by energy/facility/portfolio managers trying to identify and achieve their clean energy targets and goals;
  • Recognize how to get the most out of an analytics tool - understand the data requirements and an analytics tool’s customization/variables capabilities; and
  • Recognize climate change literacy - provide an overview of current policies guiding and directing decarbonization strategies.
