The Executive Order (EO) 14057: Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability represents a paradigm shift in leadership support of asset management and project development. Addressing existing facilities will be critical to achieving a net-zero portfolio and require a top-down approach supported by bottom-up solutions. Leadership buy-in will be a vital element to success in support of asset management and project development. This session will focus on an enterprise approach to this challenge focusing on organizational planning, integration within programs, funding solutions, centers of excellence, asset management, and project development support. In addition, it will explore the challenge of transitioning existing federal infrastructure to address the EO goals across geographic areas for federal portfolios, campuses, military installations, etc.
