This training session will provide an overview of building electrification. The initial focus is on what type of actions should be considered before building electrification to best prepare. This will include possible fuel conversion on existing construction and retrofits. Also, examining any enhanced efficiency measures and retrocommissioning to right size first to reduce capital costs required prior to electrifying. This will include looking at some of the initial carbon free technologies with strategies for grid balancing.
