Spinal Cord Injury / Disorders Center Design Guide (PG-18-12 Chapter 104) is intended to be used as a guide to supplement VA Space Planning Criteria, other technical criteria, and related VA programs and policies for Spinal Cord Injury / Disorders. Use of this Design Guide does not preclude the need for a functional and physical design program for each specific project. It is the responsibility of the Project Architect and the Project Engineer to develop a complete and accurate project design that best meets the users’ needs and complies with applicable standards and code requirements.
About this Revision: This Design Guide supersedes the March 1, 2017 version with all new designed Room Templates. The space planning programs have been deleted and now are solely located in PG 18-9.
