GSA Public Buildings Service

GSA provides a full range of real estate services, as well as serves as builder, developer, leaser and manager of federally owned and leased properties through our Public Buildings Service (PBS), the entity primarily responsible for the federal government's civilian facilities program. PBS offices include the following and more information on each can be found at www.gsa.gov/pbs:

  • Office of Design and Construction—Coordinates GSA's architectural, engineering and construction services.
  • Office of Client Solutions—Responsible for the coordination of PBS's client relationships and the creation and implementation of business processes, tools, training and guidance to support the acquisition and delivery of space assignments and related services to our clients.
  • Office of Acquisition Management—Responsible for maximizing the purchasing power of PBS. This is accomplished through business intelligence, sound acquisition policy, knowledge of industry and vendor offerings and national acquisition strategies.
  • Office of Real Property Asset Management—Responsible for maximizing the value of PBS' portfolio of owned and leased assets by developing national strategies and serving as a consultant to the GSA regions.
  • Office of Facilities Management and Services Programs—Responsible for providing program management, support and guidance to our Property Managers in an effort to provide a safe, healthy, effective and efficient work environment for our clients.
